This block is expensive. The paper and film has costed about $100. And now another 60+ bucks is going into the book that i have to put my prints in. See, we have to go bind it at some place at defu lane and that costs 50, the paper i bought was 11. Haiz. At least i'm all done printing. Tomoro i just have to stick it down and monday send it for binding. C&E sucks. The final assignment is 2 parts. One is about the biennale which i didnt take any notes on while i was there. And the second one is like coming up with a proposal thingie for the IR at sentosa. Even tho luqman was in our group in the previous one, he's not in it this time. Benji agrees.
I mean he barely comes to class and the percentage of times he actually hands up his work is even less. So no. And i'm kinda irritated with him nowadays. Its like before he was ok but after hanging out with him a lot, i see everything... except the gf he keeps talking about. Besides going over sometimes, he boasts. And like even if his work is so good(tho i've never seen it except for that one time he photoshopped some woman), what's the use if you dont actually do it? And he said like he was offered a job in dubai or something. Back then in the 1st block i actually believed him cause quite a few people are very accomplished already. Well, looks like you can add c&e to your list of failed modules.
Anyways, went out with my sec sch ppl after school last night- sy, sh, ivan and daniel. And wow, ivan is big now... as in taller than me and all muscly. Captain of the waterpolo team which awed me(he's come a long way). Daniel is now taller than sy and its weird seeing him without braces. Went to eat at pastamania with the protests of the latter 3(they wanted subway) cause sometimes sy can be stubborn. Jie rong met up with us after dinner then we went to play pool at paradiz. Everyone was pretty good. And with sh's instruction, sy did awesome too. Went back at like 11+ shagged.
Went to taka art friend to buy the paper and glue and i stopped by at the opera gallery. I saw this really, wonderfully amazing painting. I just stared at it for so long. It made me wanna try oil painting cause the effects were so awesome. The rocky parts were very texturised(mixed with clay from what i read) Hyperrealism according to the opera gallery website. I didnt take a photo cause i think its prohibited. I didnt wanna get thrown out or anything. So i found it online but its superly low res. well here it is, La Mauresque Boniface by Boussignac Patrick
Its way more beautiful and impactful in real life. Go see it.
