This is a continuation of the previous post. I wanted to break it up so that they're more readable, bite sized pieced. Its still thursday
So after bathing and gulping down instant udon, i left for c&e. The lecturer, tho she has studied in and visited many western countries, speaks like an auntie. As in those type you see at the market with frizzy hair, satiny tiger striped tights and a tacky blouse, arguing with the fishmonger even if it is for a 20 cent reduction. No she does not look like that, but a lot of the time she sounds like it. She's nice tho... so far anyway. After watching a rather delightful vid abour facial expressions, my group went to do our project in the canteen. Our group meaning me, benji and, even tho i was apprehensive about it, luqman. I left them at about 6.50 to go meet pepper and sy to go for the tp talentquest auditions... which i didnt tell maja or my dad about cause they would freak out if i did. The queue had way more people than i expected... about 80. After registering, we went to the waiting room for over an hour then to a smaller waiting area.
Pepper was 1st and she did a really good job with lady marmalade although she was fretting about it a lot later. Sy was even better and didnt sound like him. Waiting backstage, it felt like there werent only butterflies, but cobras in my stomach...hahah. Then it was my turn and i walked out to the middle of the stage. The judges asked my name and song title although my view of them was pretty hazy cause the spotlight shone right into my eyes. As i sang, my hands felt like cold ants were running all over them. I kinda overdid some parts. I missed a cue. I dont think i'm gonna make it to the finals. Wasted 10 bucks(the registration fee... we do get a t-shirt, but its very blah).
Then wen we came out, clare, vivien, sean paul, luqman and a girl whose name i forgot came out. I cant believe they waited so long for us. Aparently, they sneaked into the theatre and heard a lot of the contestants. A lot of them sang chinese. And tho they said i did well, i dont believe them... cause friends are supposed to say that.
Today i got my film developed and did 2 contact prints. They turned out a lot less nice than i expected. So i'm gonna have to shoot like 3 more rolls on sunday. I would have done it tomoro... only i dont think my cramped thigh can handle it.
