Went out yesterday to go see the salvador dali sculptures. Was supposed to meet sy at 5 but due to his X-men marathon, he would only meet me at 6.30. I went to the oub centre first, thinkin it was there but it was actually at the uob centre. Thank god both were just side by side. The thingies were cool and really big. Then i went to wheelock to see one. Then went into borders shuffling around for gift ideas when i bumped into wen hao. He was squatting at the same place for like half an hour trying to decide on which of those fantasy/warrior thingie kinda books cause he got some voucher or something. Then met sy at taka and saw the stuff at the opera gallery. Too bad couldnt take pics there. Here are some of the outside ones.

We went upstairs and i proceeded into this really nice toystore(my sis' 1st birthday is comin) so i thought i'd get her something. But. There was this rattle thingie... 24 bucks. And almost everything else in the store was overpriced. I wanted to get myself this bison replica but i decided to put the money into my N93 fund. Walked over to artfriend where we met jocelyn, amanda, kai en and fehrooze(is that how its spelled?) Shopped around a while, got myself a bookmark then went to go find food.

Outide in the ngee ann city courtyard, there as this mariachi band playing and had these dancers and all. it was quite cool. Especially one par where all the dancers pranced around with water glasses on their heads. Not a drop spilled. Then they were giving out these goody bags and we thought the'red be like a t-shirt or a kechain or even maracas. But no. All that was in that big colorful paper bag was a single, one-side printed pamphlet about the showitmes of all the other mexican performances. Waste. We went to kfc for dinner then went o borders caus like thats sy's new fav hangout. And like only after we were reaching the bus stop i realised that top model was gonna start in 15 mins so we decided to cab back. But even waiting for that took so long. I got home like at 10.15. I like Molly Sue.
