The Cripple That Is Whole Tuesday, September 12, 2006

I'm so distraught that jesse flew away. I cant believe i didnt learn my lesson after joey did the same. But its like it didnt look like his wings had grown much... but yet he flew so far away. See, i was sitting at the steps of my house while jesse was nibbling at my feet. Then when my maid came back from the bathroom with the cage... he got startled and flew. I watched to see where he might have landed then sped off looking for him round the terrace houses but to no avail. Then i went beck up to check the location and realised i was searchin in the wrong place. So i got back out, running to the spot he would have landed or something, waiting around to hear the slightest gist of his chirps or shrieks. But after an hour in the hot midday sun, i gave up and went home. Its like i developed such a bond with him. Like my child, yet my friend who would just listen to my thoughts and rants without judging. He used to love picking at my face. heh. I remember when i just got him he was like balding and i had to feed him formula through a sytinge, 3 times a day. and he would squeak from inside the shoebox whenever he got hungry. Haiz. I'll miss you jesse.
