Make Up your Mind Wednesday, August 30, 2006

Sunday evening, my dad had like fever with some chest pains andbecause he had had heart sugery before, my uncle came and brought him to the hospital... me included cqause my aunt told me to go and it would be very unsonly if i refused. So i went there(A&E department cause waiting in line otherwise would me a bitch), couldnt go in cause only one accompanying person was allowed, sat and stood around, playing music on my phone. Ate the sandwich from the stupid machine which gave me change of 8 bucks in coins. There were quite a few ambulances that came, but almost all carrying old people. Not like bloodied up or shot or psyco people. So boring. There was this one guy who was taking a long and what looked like a very agonizing walk towards the check in place, clutching his side. The thing is, nobody gave a damn. He could have collapsed halfway or something. Appendicitis i think. So anyways, i waited for 3 hours, then my uncle came out and said they were keeping him for observation, so we left.

On monday i was supposed to go tp to collect my assignments from richard and see if there were any suitable jobs on the notice board. While reading it, richard came by(with kee jan) and told me to tell my classmates that we were supposed to collect our stuff the next day from 3-3.30 pm, and that he'd sent and e-mail. So i asked him if mine was marked already, and he said yes, everyone's one was. then i asked if i could take it now. You know wat that bitch(other than this, he's not evil) said? "ouh, cannot, i'm going out now' and he left me there belwildered. Besides the fact that sch is 50 mins away from home, i was going ice skating the next day. Irritating. Anyways, met up with luqman and we went to watch My Super Ex-Girlfriend. It was very good. Entertaining. And i think G-Girl is the best dressed superhero ever.

Then later, my aunt called me cause my dad passed out while at the hopital vending machine, so i went to visit him. But he was ok la.

On tues me, zhi wen, charmaine, darren and marina met up at bugis and took a train to jurong east. On the way, there was this girl who was sleeping and had this odd contraption with her. It looked like a portable toilet. heheh.



So anyways, it was like this shopping centre thing and the skating rink was upstairs. The admission was quite ex, 8+(for 2 hours) and another 2+ for the skating boot rental. We got our gloves, put our stuff into our locker, put on those boots and started walkin around the edges of the rink, holding the sides. Darren was the most pro, and i had my but sticking out like a chicken most of the time. Zhi wen was the worst cause it was his 1st time. I struggled a lot... its more difficult and unstable than rollerblading, cause the latter has more traction. Then wen there was like 25 mins to go i decided to skate recklessly cause it wouldnt be fun if i didnt fall at least once. I fell twice. Then we had this walk-off, on dry land with our boots on... too bad i cant put the vid here. Then after that we went to eat and went to take neoprints. It was really hilarious. zw is gonna scan it in and send us. I'll put it up as soon as i get it.



I awoke at 8+ this morning to my aunt calling out my name in a scared voice. So i dragged myself out of bed and into the living room wher my aunt was lying down."the whole room is upside down" she said, her eyes fluttering, closing tightly and opening again, as if trying to banish a hallucination. At first i was thinkin, this is ridiculous, she must be sleep talking or something. So i was like "its not upside down" in a rather annoyed tone. But when her attempts continued, i said "just go back to sleep 1st, see how later", and i myself tried to go back to sleep but couldnt cause Jesse was makin too much noise. But i did fall asleep eventually and woke up again at 1+. I asked my aunt wat the whole drama was earlier and she said she wasnt dreaming. And its not the 1st time. I'm guessing there's something wrong with the liquids in her ear. You know when you spin around a lot, then you stop, it seems like the room is still spinning? Or maybe she's just lacking rest and her brain is tired or something. Then after that we went to my house for lunch cause my dad had come back from the hospital. Ooh and he had video clips of his heart test thingie but i dunno how to spell it.
