Well, my 3 days of life are over. The utterly relaxing weekend. In that 3 days, i slept more than i had in the whole 2 weeks before. I felt so weird on friday night, not doing anything at all, like i was missing something or naked or something.
On sat, was supposed to watch X-men 3 with like about 8 ex-sas ppl but in the end only me and sy went to watch, although sh joined us for lunch only. And speaking of such, his acne is like really horrible now... like worse than mine had ever been. From far it looked like he was wearing dark blusher or face-paint or something. But my only criticism was in the form of a shocked expression on my face... which is also not pimple free. I was so angry with karim for tellin me who died before i watched it although if i didnt hear it from him, i would have found out from sh. Anyways, X3 was totally awesome, although it wasnt as powerful as i expected, it was still really great. Jean grey is so beyond cool, and her being semi-evil adds to the appeal. I never knew she was that powerful. And i love the way her skin turns gray and her eyes, black, when she gets agitated and falls into one of her merciless power-surge fits. The effects of the victims' disintergrating could have been better tho. I wish i had her power, even though i'll be satisfied with even a third of it.
The fight scenes were cool. Halle got more screen time, i like her lightning stuff and flying and especially when she killed callisto, although i find her spinning thing kinda annoying. I didnt know that ther were mutant classes like jean is the only class 5 and magneto and xavier are like either 3 or 4. Ouh, and magneto's moving of the golden gate bridge was so over-dramatic, but nonetheless cool. Its such a pity that mystique turned human. Juggernaut is stupid and so is the chinese guy's power. The spikes are like so short la. That butch-girl sy said was the scarlett witch had quite a cool power, shockwave but its stupid cause its impossible for something that broad to just target the weapons and not touchin the humans. Pyro and iceman are stronger than i thought, rogue is an unattractive bimbo, wolverine is gain the star of the show, cyclops had little screen time in which he was brooding in all of it, shadowcat is quite cute, all angel does is fly around and look pretty even though that scene when he tried shaving the wings of as a boy was rather disturbing and beast is played by an old guy. The movie was kinda short... gotta watch it again and see the little clip after the credits.
After that, sy went to church and i went to art friend(which is like my most visited shop now) to get stuff for tue's drawing fundamentals. But all i got was hair color spray and a styrofome ball. Met gladys and joclyn there coincidentally and we went to have dinner.
Sunday i was supposed to get the film slr for the next block's basic photo, but the shop was closed and i ended up buying a pair of shoes at peninsular and weights at mustafa centre. Wasted the whole day wen i should have been designing my t-shirt.
On monday we had to go back to school cause pek gek wanted us to. She called it a make-up lesson but it was a load of bull. Time wasted. Then after that went to watch the DaVinci Code with joclyn. It was good... almost as good as X3 even though a lot of ppl found it disappointing. Silas is real scary and disturbing(especially the self -torture part) but at the same time cool(grey eyes, white hair, eccentric personality). Aringarosa deserved to be shot...Molina has the ability to make you dislike his character. I was surprised when i saw that teabing was actually bad. I'm not a fan of tom hanks. The cryptex is cool. The storyline was quite well weaved... although i heard it deviated much from the book. The art direction is good. I love the way they speak french really quickly. I didnt know half the things they said before the movie, like the Templar knights and Opus dei although i heard them before, but i still dunno wat exactly the latter is.
Tues was the start of the new block. Wore the last unrepeated outfit. My denim vest ala american gas station worker. And i used the white hair spray thingie...
I cant believe someone actually thought i was a year 3 student... i so do not look that old.
Nancy for 'DrFun' is anything but fun. She's kinda strict and is very cheap. Our 1st assignment was rather tedious... still havent finished it, but she wants it only on the 14th session. At crative thinkin we watched this old, black&white audrey hepburn movie. Their acting was so melodramatic. Kinda irritating. And its rather controversial, the lead character's best friend has a lesbian crush on her. Heheh. No physical stuff tho. Anyways she killed harself. The assignment is we're supposed to come up with a poster for it, but he wants like a lot of research and development. And its such a bitch that almost every session, we'll be presenting wat we've done so far. Crap la. But it isnt that heavy i guess.
Today's DrFun assignment was quite painless, i managed to finish it in the lesson itself. A cube and a sphere, drawn and shaded realistically. Everyone thought my sphere was really good, but they haven't seen sy's portrait of faith. Awesome likeness. And i see that nancy is really fussy, she makes ppl redo a lot. On the brighter side, kee jan cancelled our CT today so i went town to buy an a2 file/thin suitcase thing. $43 bucks. Then since i just got my bus concession, i walked to far east plaza to take the 105. But i bought the turkish ice-cream(it seems because of jocelyn, i've been eating a lot of ice-cream lately) so i walked around till i finished it. Then i found the shop that sells arm socks and i got a pair... navy blue with red stripes. Gonna use it tomoro. hahah. Jakun.
