Perplexing Eyebrows Friday, May 05, 2006

Well, my 1st week of poly has ended and boy has it been tiring. I dont see why they couldnt like ease us into it. No. They gotta pack it in full force and make us feel all the pain and stress. There's just so much work. TGIF man. The weekend will help me recuperate... or at least help me finish up my color work.

Thursday's typo theory was, as usual, dry and the assignment was a bitch. I'm so not good at this computer stuff. Ask me the scientific name for the indian cobra and i will know. Ask me to draw you a portrait or a bug and i'll do it real great. But computers are just not my thing. I surf the net, check my mail, blog and thats it. Then for color, he got us to do this color scheme thing and some icon thing. Ouh, and while workin, i heard someone upstairs playin 'time is runnin out' by muse. then after that, i went back to the com lab to straigten out my typo assignment. See, the assignment she gives us is supposed to be handed up the next day by 5pm. So i was tryin to get my thing right. We were supposed to arrange a word in a square to express its meaning. we're supposed to do 3, and the 3rd one had its last letter cut off all the time. So i did a new one, then went to see her, she said go have a drink and come back later so i and wen hao had 'lunch' at the business canteen. Then went back, wen hao went home, got my thing printed, but the font wasnt in the printing com. See we do our work in one lab, then we have to go to another to print. And though i have my printer at home, i cant open the files on my com. So anyway its such a bitch cause theres only one com in the print place and its usually used. Wat we were supposed to do for the next color lesson was trace a portrait from a mag then enlarge to a3. But i just drew freehand... turned out quite good. Gonna save it, maybe can use for drawin fundementals next month. orlando bloom.

Then today the typo assignment was quite ok, we had to do a calender page. I finished mine durin the class. Did this sketchy outline with grafitti words and numbers. Then at color, we were supposed to do a collage to make the tones of the face and also do a cityscape in any black and white media. I was mostly slackin durin the lesson. Traced the cityscape i got from Ally(a petite girl who just joined the class like the day before who's really good at art), went to the next classroom to kacau sy and clarence. Turns out their assignment is less mah fan. Copy an ad, paint it, half color, half b&w. But i hear their lecturer, nancy, is not nice. Crap that i have her next month for DrFun. Must do some boot-licking for the 1st few days with her i guess... i heard she's kinda biased. Then after lunch, went to the com lab to finish my typo assignment, but wen i was done, there were like lecturers using the print com. So i went back... altered some stuff, then while transferring stuff to the cd, all 3 documents disappeared. The 2 of the 3 from the assignment i had to hand up today and the calendar thing. I felt like cryin man. So i quickly rush redo, and by the time i go find Mdm chan to open the door, let me in, only to find out that somethin was wrong and cannot print. LMAO! So she asked me to come back on monday mornin(even though i got no lessons on mon) to print it out at the student print lab(which was at that time closed cause its so late) and hand it to her. Haiz... just wen i tot i could rest on monday.

I think that Starship Troopers is like the only brainless high budget hollywood movie. I still think the soldier and plasma bugs were cool, but the brain bug had an anus on its face... where the mouth is supposed to be. And i found it both appropriate and hilarious when they put a censored sign up wen they jacked somethin into its 'mouth'.

Speakin of disgustin things... ever see snail porn? Well i saw this snail the other day, getting onto another one and extended this white thing from the side of its neck. Sick. Enjoy...
