Well, this week has been busier than i thought it would be, even though there were only 2 projects. The typo one was to make a brochure about some sg tourism thingie. And there were ppl like zhi wen and darrell making ones that looked it got picked up from a hotel lobby while mine looks like those pamphlets for blood donation or breast cancer or something. Its so demoralising. Anyways, mdm chan...mdm mah fan, made us go to like printing companies to print the thing. So me, wen hao, chun yeung, angelina and ashley went to bras basah on wed to go print it. 12 bucks ok. Thats crap la. Anyways, after that we went to Banquet at raffles hospital for lunch then me and cy went to art friend for typo stuff.
The project for color was that we had to either use the event we did for the group work or do some design a car competition. Well, quidam is an interesting enough topic so i did that. We're supposed to do a 2D object in 4 color schemes and one 3D object. At 1st mine was a postcard and a candle, then he made me change, so i chose handkerchief and he made me take umbrella. Since normal hankies are square, i made mine rectangular with diff proportions, each focussing on a distinguishing feature of some of the characters. Took me 4 hours+ to paint that. Then the umbrella i did in color pencil. 1 and a half hours. Turned out quite well.
There was some ccn day thingie today, some fund-raiser for needy students. And mdm chan was selling hamsters, with the aid of some students... what clarence said was evil. Ok its a little traumatising for the little guys but it cant be as bad as being slowly eaten by a scorpion(citing a personal experience). They were so adorable. Anyway the whole place was swamped... around stalls that sold girl's accessories, chocolate fondue, hotdogs, cotton candy, t-shirts, decorative items and guppies... among other things. There was even this airbrush-tattoo stall at business. But all i got was otah-otah, iced milo and this little voodoo doll thing. It was all rather unexciting. Saw jing hao on the way home and i must say he lost a considerable amount of weight.
