WAT THE HELL!? Jadis has been restarting on her own recently. Its very pissy. And if i want to send it in to get fixed, how am i supposed to do my schoolwork? Argh dilemma! Ef la.

Ok, so something weird happened yesterday. A girl from morocco called me on skype yesterday(if you dunno wat that is, its like messenger except its free internet voice calls). I think the reason is cause her name is Sara Hanifi (see the resemblance?). Firstly she didnt know where singapore was. Forgiveable. SO i tell her its in asia. "Wat is that?" How could she not know the largest continent on earth? So i had to say "You know china? OK? sg is far down" She knew china. Anyways, it was the most torturous conversation i've had in a long time. Besides the many awkward silences, the occasional bad connection did not help her stunted english. Its as bad as my malay(and let me tell you i speak malay horrendously). Ok here's an instance where she just added me and showed her dp:


Sara: Wat-e do you theenk?

Sara: I dont understand wat-e you say

Me: Pretty? (i thought it was bad connection)

Sara: wat is-e prr... Nice? Beautiful?

Me: Yes yes.

(i then put up my dp)

Me: what about this?

Sara: Mmm, yes-e, you are olso nice, er, beautiful.



So I, the beautiful boy, had to be the one asking all the questions trying not to sound like a dao bitch. Apparently her hobby is listening to music(i always tell ppl mine is television... which is true) and she let me hear some- mostly turkish instrumental which was pretty chic but some were these cheesy 90s english instrumentals that totally spoiled it. On the upside, she did play some beyonce. Thank god for the music that filled many an awkward silence. It was really exhausting trying to listen and decipher her oddly formed sentences or wrong use of words. I mean i would have thoroughly enjoyed myself if she was englishy, learning about the lifestyle there and the education system and stuff. Sad. It lasted for over an hour, after which she was going to talk to her friends(god thank you for giving her friends). Cause i'm a very polite person to strangers and didnt want to be the one to hang up.

Worse, she called me again today. Asked me bout muslim stuff, whether i pray and fast and know how to say the um, i dunno the term in english, and stuff. And yet i was thoroughly surprised to see in one of her pics that she held a shaggy dog(in her photo blog) and if you dont know, we arent supposed to have dogs(we cant touch their nose or any part of them thats wet, i think. But we can keep guard dogs... if you live in some mansion or sth la.). But i didnt want to question her bout it cause religious practices are a touchy subject. And guess wat, on the second page of her pb, there is an image split into 4, thats her future husband. If it werent for the marriage at 18 law in morocco, i bet she'd be wearing a wedding dress(or whatever these people wear) right now... she's 16 and he's 23. Bet its matchmade. Sad. It was a short convo tg, cause her mom called her or something... and she said she'll talk to me later but i just put my status to offline. *sigh of relief*


Okok enough bitching. Today was the final presentation for comDi and our group totally rocked it although i felt i could have done better. But who cares, desmond said we were the best. Haha. Woo! Yea, The Liquid Salvation rules! (arches eyebrows, opens eyes big, raise hands in a questioning manner saying "you know?"). And I've finally saved enough to get those pair of nike's i've been eyeing, Yay! Haha. And another reason to celebrate, i collected my 2 gig memory card already so now my travelling will be more exciting with loads more songs. Whee. On the downside, i still have 2 calendar vectors to do by monday morning, each taking about 7 hours to do. But after that i wanna watch Pan's Labrinth... any takers?
