Went to watch narnia with S1. It was ok lah, not fantastic but i guess worth the 8 bucks. The white witch is so hot...i mean cold.She's damn drama la, usin polar bears to pull her...um sleigh is not the right word. Pls tell me if you know...those kind of medieval battles use one. Slipped my mind. And the different outfits to match the occasion. Yeah... my fav character. Wished she had more powers though. And i cant believe santa is in it. One stupid part. Ok, so white bitch shaved aslan(dun you think that sounsds so malay?) and stabbed him...and because of anciant magic he came back to life(guys, i know this is a major spoiler for those who havent read or watched) but i dunt get why his hair grew back as well. The animation for him is really good...but the beavers looked fake.

What a boring christmas... stupid me for not makin any advanced plans. All i did was go j8 and buy ice-cream and turkish delights(becoz of Narnia). Ouh, and i saw this lesbian couple being lovey dovey. Get a room. Definitely not a white christmas. And i still need to know how to get dota. I borrowed frozen throne from melvin oredi. Haiz...techno-bimbo.

Went to jon's house again yeasterday after releasin Adam. Played some Dead or alive 2 again... the part where you fight one guy after another. Managed to get 16 wins max. Then us 3 went to the carpark. There was hiding a cold storage shopping cart they found. So i got in and they pushed me around real fast in it, sometimes against walls. The worst was, you know those little 'headstones' you find at carparks, well jon pushed towards it and upon collision, the back wheels of the cart lifted off the ground. Fun, although my arms were aching later. Then went to orchard for a while, aaron was lookin for a shirt as a present. Saw balqis, yi jie and jason at the narnia exhibition. Gonna watch the movie tomoro. Anyways, after that we met up with Ivan and jp, went to play lan. Ok, i really suck at cs. Then even though 3 of us teamed up against ivan, he still whopped our asses in dota. Yeah, and i'm beginning to see wht the big fuss is about.

i cant help but laugh at the bimbotic character tyra banks plays in Life Size. eg, she was supposed to type out a document, the colleague putt it in the tray beside her. all she typed was skdkfhiujs ksakdasksk jdkjosiajel k oijmfnokssjsaksk skdj dsklawlk awkdioewemnslkfkflkasjdlkfdk. Speakin of tyra, theres the new season of antm today. Yay!

Went lanning today again, but this time with karim, matt and jovina who recently colored its hair. Turns out they're all goin milennia for the 1st 3 months. Ok, played battlefield thigie, and we totally whopped our opponents twice...155-0 and 185-0. Hahah. And i improved in cs...however minutely.

Lavish Living Monday, December 19, 2005

I think king kong is better than hp and the gof. Not by much but still better. I mean the way the whole story was played and set, its very complete unlike the ultra condensed gof. And, kk is the only movie ever to have made me cry. Not even titanic could do that. Maybe because i'm more of and animal lover and kk death was a lot more dramatic than jack becomin a popsicle. And the fight scenes were uber cool. Especially with the 3 rexes. I found the part where the dinosaurs tumbled over each other hilarius... and that witch with the skin like a cooled lava flow needs an upper lip wax real badly. They mentioned singapore more than 3 times in the movie. Hahah. Next, i wanna watch Narnia. I dunno why they must add 'The Chronicles of Narnia' when the title is already so long... the lion the witch and the wardrobe. Ouh, and i saw the teaser trailer for X3. Damn cool. Although i hate the fact that storm's hair is even shorter, although it looks like she got more screen time to bribe her to stay. They changed mystiques eyes, but the previous one is much nicer. Anger looks great and i love jean's long hair. I cant believe they got kelsie grammar to play beast. He's so frikin old la.

Anyway, went to Jon's house yesterday cause aaron came back and is stayin there. Omg, he's so RICH. See, place he stays in this condo, where you'll not even be let into the front entrance gate unless you call through the speaker and the guy opens the gate from his apartment. Ok so the top storey has 2 penthouses and guess wat, both are his. I am so awed and the interiors are great with their dark wood panelling outside and spiral staircase and the two sink bathrooms. Surprised they didnt have a tub, but maybe it would be in the parent's room. And the whole place was perfectly spotless. Their maid must be bionic. Heheh. So we played some dead or alive 2 on xbox and i totally ruled. Hahah. My 1st time sumore you know. Of course, sy got back at me for trashing him so much that he destroyed me at dota... and dan was nothin short of ruthless. Ok so hopefully i'll convince my dad to let me camp there next week cause dan and sy will be too.

Serpent Friday, December 16, 2005

On wednesday, i experienced a serpentine course of events. Literally. I went to qlarke quay for a job interview that was supposed to be at 1. but i was there at like 12. So i walked around, went under the bridge, looked at the singapore river. Then beside the MICA building(previously known as MITA)with its tacky multi-colored windows, was a hill. So i thought, hmm, why not try to find some insect since i have time and havent done that in a long time. Crossed the road...it was fort canning park. So i walked up, looked under the wooden railings, turned over stones, but nothing. Then i came across this really cool tree. It had like a really big branch that fell of and left a gaping hole in the trunk. My bloody phone batt was low so i could only take two pics, both of which sucked because of bad lighting.

So anyway, i decided there was nothin else to see, and started to descend. Then on the way down, i say something, pokin out of a hole in the wood railing. A green speckled tail. I was psyched. Started rummaging my bag to find something to catch that paradise tree snake. All i could find was my pencil box, so i emptied it into my bag, held it in one hand while tugging at the like 6 cm of tail. It was like rooted inside, slowly more came out. I was like expecting 50 cm of snake. Then the head doubled back on itself and came out of the hole. Started slithering here and there. Obviously aboreal since it was only goin up. So once the whole snake was out, i realised that i couldnt fit it in the pencil case. It was nearly 90 cm long. So i cleared out the front compartment of my bag and tried to grab it head with the pc. But the feisty thing tried to strike. Twice. Then the 3rd time, it got hold of the pc. Then i grabbed it round the neck, took a picture and stuffed it in my bag. Wohoo. I was so full of adrenalin. It totally rocked. Yeah, so i looked it up in my reptile book, found out that it's mildly venomous, cant do anythin to humans la. So whopee. Gonna keep it till sunday to scare some friends when i meet them. Then gonna let it go. I tried feeding it a lizard and a centipede but it didnt eat. I'm gonna try crickets tomoro.

So yeah, i couldnt find the interview venue, went for another one. Liked that job but they didnt call me back. Went to skin centre for my acne medication. Yeah. I'll try to post pics of adam(thats wat i named him...ok so i'm bein corny since its a paradise tree snake) but i dun have usb cable.

the Job Chronicles part 3: Jinxed Monday, December 12, 2005

Ok, i really think i'm jinxed or cursed or something. Cause this not getting a job thing is starting to get desperate. I mean today i went for my 10th interview at international plaza just beside tanjong pagar station. The first level is like a rather old shoppin centre but with watsons and bk. So i went up to the 39th storey at like 2.15 even though the interview was supposed to be at like 3. So i thought i was too early, went to this stairwell shaft and wat else, started singing la. the echoes were really good. Just hope nobody heard me. Then went down to buy a drink(the elevator gives you that numb feeling in your ears) and went to the toilet. Now it was really werid. The cubicle had a horizontal mirror at belt level. Wtf! Shouldnt it be way higher? Who wants to observe their dick while they're peeing? Honestly there are really stupid people in the world. Unless of course...really fat people cant see down past their blubber bellies so the mirror makes it easier for them to buckle up and stuff. Yeah.

Ok so i went back up and rang the doorbell. Cause all the offices were like apartments as well...dual function. So this small dog starts barking at me from inside so i kept making faces at it. Then the owner comes to the gate and askes if i'm malay. Aparently the dim-wit conveniently forgot to tell me that he had a bitch in his place so... well duh i couldnt work there. I really wanted that job. Supposedly, i would have to draw characters and backgrounds and animals and make plastercine models so that the company could turn it into digital animation. Yeah. But, with my foul luck, i'm still jobless.

On the way back i saw funny things. There was this guy in office wear, usin sling bag, the strap around his chest. He obviously works out. But then, it was like he was checkin for breast cancer. Fiddling and circling his er, pectoral, and he wouldnt give it a rest. And also, it wasnt the first time i've seen it, but there were these guys obviously from india, holding hands like everything was fine and dandy. I dunno, they get way too chummy.

Ouh yeah, forgot to say that i love my new hairstyle although the barber did a nasty job of it. I got the sides cut really short, almost cropped, trimmed like half a cm of my fringe, got the top cut and left the back. Dad and aunt arent too happy abt it. They say it makes me look like a mat gangster. Mueheheh.

Versus Saturday, December 10, 2005

Ok, so went to suntec today for an interviw. Another dud. Fully commission based. Sellin greeting cards. , WHY! WHY? Maybe just gonna go for a flyer distribution thing tomoro. And i am so lagging behind in my portfolio. I gotta do 7 awesome drawings by the end of jan, each takin abt 4 hours. I hope i can make it.

So since i was so sianned, called daniel to come meet me. Walk walk, sometimes in circles, talkin about a lot of stuff. i cant belive he plays golf. Rich man's game. Not that he's not rich. But its good that he doesn't act it. And its relly nice that he finds satisfaction in manual labour to help the poor. I know i couldnt. Not that i'm heartless, but i'm only caring to a certain level. We went into this spectacle shop and tried on branded sunglasses like prada, versace and this really huge pair that totally engulfed my vision. There was one pair that was so hot. Instead of the usual single stem that goes on top each year, there were two shorter stems on each side that grips the face. Shit i forgot the brand but they cost like between 400 and 500 bucks. I intend to get this pair which costs like $155 where the lens really curves around the face. Hopefully after i get a job and my pay. haiz. Then we like busted 8 bucks on a shooting game at the arcade. It was fun but way too capital intensive. Next time i go out it has gotta be cheap thrill. Literally.

the Job Chronicles part 2: Rejection. Friday, December 09, 2005

I have gone all around singapore, filled 11 application forms but still no job. I rejected 4 for unfavourable conditions, gonna reject another one if they call. Its weird, all the ones i want dont call but all the ones i dont want, do. Ugh i hate this so supremely. I want $$$!

On monday, went to this public toilet, washin my hands, then dryin at the hand dryer thingie. the sinks were behind me and the urinals to my right. This guy in a Subway uniform came in, heard him wash his hands, then saw him make his way to the urinals. Wat was wrong with that picture was that his pants were already down, and he was like hobbling. Eulkh! Thank god his underwear were still on, or else my eyes would have surely burned.

Moving on, went to an interview on wed. The office had a real nice christmas tree. i stared at it for quite long. Anyway, while in the interview, i saw this female office staff, young chinese girl, wearing a white tank top. It was not that long, so some of her belly was showin, not that she was fat. But, the most disgusting thing, she had hair on her stomach. I felt like A. pointing and laughing, then B. puking. Yeah.

Yesterday was so frustrating, i got lost so much trying to find the 1st interview venue. I walked all the way from raffles place int to chinatown stn. And it was like a million degrees outside. I looked like and idiot later, after running into a train as thay were announcing the door closin thingie, only to run back out cause it was the wrong train. That happened twice.

Haiz, anyone out there who has a job opening, pls tell me.

Crap. There's no way you can delete a friendster account. Cause ok, i heve one email add that i initially signed up with. But i dont use that one. So like after a month, the account is cancelled but saved for you. Then friendster will prompt you for e-mail verification. So i just decided to change the add to the one i'm usin. But dunno how, i already have another friendster account with that email add wen i dun have any recollection of havin signed up. And i cant find a way to delete that very dormant friendster so that i can use the add for my active one. Ouh, wait, i just did. Bimbo. ok, and also i tried to put a tagboard here but instead of goin in the sidebar, it locates itself right at the top middle of the page. Tsk

Ok, So i went to apex tower for the second interview, i was 10 mins late but not the only one. Ok, so the products they are selling are magnets in pillows, mattresses, mats and bracelets. Supposedly, it improves blood circulation. Okay, i believe that part. But its still gonna be difficult to sell. I mean the mattresses come at 3k a piece. And somehow i doubt the comfortable-ness. I mean its 7 layers of crap, one being coconut husk. I would really get four star or king koil or somethin like that. Who cares if it improves my blood circulation( F.Y.I, mine is good already, saw it with my own eyes...with the help of a microscope of course)i would just want a mattress that would take me to lala land the moment i hit it. And also, according to them, their brand is better because they use bipolar magnets, or rather two magnets stuck together. But on a site i visited, the magnets would just attract each other and the area of the magetic thigies wont be far enough to properly penetrate the body. I like the name of the thing they use though. Rare earth. Thats wat they call it at another site too. Something with Neodymium. Ok so I have to sell these. Basic pay is 700. But its supposed to increase later. yeah. I just hope it turns out all right, you know, no scams or funny business. And hopefully, by the end of these 5 months, i'll be able to cut, dye and rebond my hair, buy the nokia N70, Buy enough clothes to supply 2 weeks without repetition aand some savings. Yeah.

Quenched... Thursday, December 01, 2005

Ok, so there was a class barbecue on tuesday. Aparently i made too big deal out of it. I shouldn't heve dyed back my hair just to have gone for it. My hair feels like crap now after i shampoo. cant run my hand through it. Luckily the conditioner they gave totally rocks.

Anyway, i expected the thing to be a whole lot more exciting. And to last longer. So we met up at pasir ris station at 4, then took a bus there. Ok, something dan told me later on was evident. Jeremy is getting too defensive and takes stuff too seroiusly. As in like we challenged him to do 16 pull ups there and he said he wasnt in the right attire. And when melvin said something cause jp had us stop at a bus stop that was really far away, he snapped back with total seriousness. And dan told me he just couldnt admit defeat playin cs. Dunno wats goin on with him.

Ok, so we put the stuff at the benches, slacked a while then me, jp, dan and jie rong went to rent bike. Cycled a while then started to drizzle so got back to the site, lent jerrold my bike and went to the swamp. Ouh, yeah, jerrold said he'd pay half, he owes me $2.50. Tried finding insects(hey, i have 5 free months, can revert to old habit rite?)but didnt. Went back to the site, ate the pasta maja made cause they were barbecueing pork sausages in the grill. Then went to sit on the breakwater. The wind was so nice. Rarely is sg that cold. It was real nice. Then as raindrops slowly fell, i got up, took my bag and prepared to run. Only 10 mins later then it really rain. And the idiots were still strying to cook stuff. But eventually it got too heavy, so they just packed and ran for shelter. A bit to late lah, more than half of them were wet already. I had an umbrella. so we waited for the rain to subside then took a bus back to mrt. in the train, davin suggested we go play pool. Yeah. we got off at dhoby gaut, went to sg shoppin cntre( we as in me, davin, sam choo and ivan). I was so bad at it, but still, it was fun. Sam was damn tyco and dav was havin a bad day. i left after an hour; 2 games.

Ok so i've been job hunting. So far i've gone for 6 interviews and made many calls. I didnt take the firs one cause there was door to door sales. Robinsons one is a temp job from 16 dec to 15 jan. Awaiting their call. Awaiting for call from this other company although i know i wont get it. I actually went to the sg shoppin cntre one for a telemarketer job but they were filled up. the only ones left were surveyors and these were outdoors. So no tk. Although the interviewer did seem impressed with moi. I went for one at faber house, but all i did was fill in an application. I went for another starhub thingie today, roadshow, but solely commission based. I want a steady income. Then another one. A japanese company called Biomagnetism. Sound like a match making co. heheh. And on one wall were pictures of like emloyee of the month and some others but it looked like an obituary. I originally applied for a marketing job but the lady called up later, givin some other job. I dont know for sure wat it does so i shall not write shit here. The 2nd interwiew is on saturday. After that than i blog abt it. yeh.
