I had this weird dream the other night. See, it was the medieval age and there was a funeral in my home village. I was distraught(although i cant remember who it was who died), so when this guy(i dont really remember wat he looked like) offered to take me to some big city, i agreed. When we got there, he booked a room in the castle(some rooms were allocated like motel rooms) which only had one bed. Unfortunately, i slept on the hard cold stone floor... for like a few nights. The guy had stuff to do and errands to run so i barely saw him. And when we did meet, he yould give me like a single pea or bean to eat cause in my depression, i had no appetite for any meals. Then once, we met at a stairwell, and after the usual green pea, he took off his shoe, took out money from it and gave it to me. 11 bucks. In sg money. 1 5 buck note around 3 $2 notes. He said it was from someone. So i took it and went outside to the bazaar. Incidentally i met my cousin(the one who migrated) wearing like a blue and beige flowery peasants' dress. She told me that she was the one who gave the money and it was for me to go buy a mattress.
After we said goodbye,i spotted 2 of my aunts and they asked me about face paint... and i said like after a while it cracks and gets itchy. So they turned around and kept looking at the stall which had like face-paint tattoes and glitter stuff etc. I looked everywhere for a mattress bargain but couldnt, and somehow ended up at this tree growing right out of knee high water at the edge of the sea. The trunk was beige and the submerged part was white. So from the submerged wood, i carved myself a staff that could double as a weapon. I dont know why. Then i woke up. weird eh?
Anyways, after the friday prayers today, i went to see the the many pet around that area. Played with this gray parrot that loved biting my fingers... not painful tho, and this african grey parrot who was so utterly docile. Then in another shop, there was this cage of lovebirds(diff kind from jesse. And btw, i miss him so much) among the many. But this one was special. At the bottom was a dead bird with another bird feeding off his bloody, head. Smashed by the look of it. It was like so grotesque. Cannibalism! And like none of the others payed any attention. Just that psycho bird with its pal's blood on its beak thats supposed to be a herbivore. Eee.
So i was like..."auntie, got dead bird." She was disgusted no doubt, but it didnt shock her as much as i predicted. With her bare hands she grabbed the tail but the feathers just detached. So she grabbed more of it and flung it into the bin. All i could do was give her a dora lee smile as i walked away.
